Today we spoke about Achan and how his choice to NOT follow directions cost a lot of people and his family their life.
- Achan chose to take the gold, silver and garment from Jericho which was to be left and not touched.
- Joshua's Army was deafeated by the Army of Ai because God would not move through the army because there was SIN in the camp, that Achan was hiding.
- Joshua confronted Achan and after admitting his fault Joshua ordered Achan and his family to be stoned to death as God ordered Joshua to rid the camp of the SIN.
Final Point- Very important to Follow Directions and also take guard as one choice could lead to a lot of destruction to you and others as well.
