This Sunday we began class with rewards. The primary soldiers who brought their bible throughout last quarter received a prize of their choice out of the prize can. Make sure your child brings his/her bible because they get a prize at the end of the quarter.
We then had an exciting activity where the students created a "fan" to help Sis Bianca with the lesson. They were required to write "Jesus is God" on the front but were able to decorate it however they wished with the various string, streamers, stickers, markers, crayons, beads and etc. that were provided. The kids helped in the lesson by waving their fans and shouting "Jesus is God" every time Sis Bianca waved her hands.
Sis Bianca explained that Jesus and God are one. God was invisible and entered into a human body - Jesus. She did an object lesson with an apple. The apple has three parts the skin, core, and pulp yet you only see one apple. Just as there is a Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, but there is only one God.
We are excited for next week which is Children's Church. See you all there!
