Repentance- A Complete Turn Around

Sorry for the delay. Last Sunday Primary Soldiers tried a different method to structure the classroom. We put each child's name on a Popsicle stick and separated the class into three teams.

Sis Bianca led the lesson on Repentance by asking for a volunteer and acting out different scenarios in which she bumped into someone. She would say sorry, but the class had to decide if she meant it or not. There students learned that Repentance is a 4 step process.
1. Do something wrong (sin)
2. You are sorry and feel bad for doing the sin
3. Ask God's forgiveness
4. NEVER DO IT AGAIN

We learned that when we truly repent we never do the sin again. Then she shouwed how God forgives sin with a cool trick that included soda and a can.

Sis Darla was in the court yard leading the activity. Basically each child was blindfolded and had to walk towards a the wall. The students fellow teammates would have to tell him how to walk to the wall, when to stop, and turn around so he/she did not bump into the wall. This gave students a great visual and textile representation about how Repentance is not just saying "sorry", but is a COMPLETE TURN AROUND.

Bro Dennis had two duties, snack and memory verse. We still have our memory verse from last week and will be keeping it for a couple more weeks. The memory verse is Acts 2:38-39. He led the students in memorizing the memory verse and talked with them about Repentance.
