Today in class we talked about King Solomon and prayer. We learned how Kiong Solomon came to be so wise, how he dealt with the two "mothers" who came to him claiming they were both the mothers of one child and we learned the basics of praying. After this lesson, your child should have the necessary tools to pray wisely.
We went over four simple steps to prayer.
1. Compliment God or Praise the Lord
2. Repent and forgive (ask for forgiveness and forgive others)
3. Needs (ask God for what you or others you may know might need)
4. Praise and Seal ( Praise God for what He is going to do and because He is awesome. Then seal your prayer with "In Jesus name, Amen")
After learning this we all practiced what we just learned and had the kids pray independently.
